Harry McGee – Mercy Mission Marathon Runner
Harry McGee is to embark on his first ever marathon in April, and the fact he’s doing it to raise money and awareness for Mercy Mission is the one thing that’s keeping him going during his gruelling training regime. The 54-year-old heard about Mercy Mission through his friends and long-standing supporters of the charity, Tony and Rosemary Alwis. Due to an injury, Rosemary is unable to take part in the marathon as she has on many previous years, so Harry has taken up the baton.
Student nurses ‘mercy mission’ raises £3000
Student Nurses from the West Middlesex University Hospital have raised a massive £3000 to help children with heart problems in Sri Lanka.

School fun run
The White House Preparatory School and Woodentops Kindergarten, are a small independent co ed school, with approx 100 children from kindergarten age(2.5 yrs), to year 6 (11 yrs). Each year they choose a charity to support with various fundraising events throughout the school year.
Community Awards
Following our 5th Mission we were voted as the 'Most Outstanding Sri Lankan Charity in the UK' and Mr Austin received the 'Publishers Special Award' for services rendered to Sri Lanka.
